About
zuzu & zee is a personal care brand thoughtfully designed for children growing beyond babyhood, founded by Kinjan Shah. Created end-to-end by The Oviyan Studio, from brand identity and packaging to website and social presence, it is built on the belief that care should not stop as children grow.
Background
The idea for zuzu & zee began with a simple observation. The market was full of thoughtfully designed products for babies, but as children grew, that attention faded. They were suddenly expected to use products made for adults, and that never felt right.
The Oviyan Studio shaped the vision to position the brand differently. The goal was to break away from the expected and avoid clichés, creating something that felt distinctly made for kids. Not just functional, but visibly and unapologetically their own.

When the founders of RiRo Sports, Rikit and Rohan, walked into The Oviyan Studio, they carried with them a frustration that every woman cricketer knew too well.
The women’s cricket industry was booming. Young girls were picking up bats for the first time. And yet, not a single brand had thought to design gear that was actually built just for them.
To fill this gap and build something that would truly have a lasting impact on the sport, RiRo Sports was born.

Logo Design
The brand takes its name from the playful rhythm of childhood itself, light, curious, and full of personality. Before drawing a single line, we asked ourselves what the identity needed to say. It had to be friendly without feeling childish, calm without losing energy, and flexible enough to feel natural on a bathroom shelf or in a child’s daily routine.
What we created was a soft, rounded wordmark—simple, approachable, and full of character. It carries the personality of the name itself, creating a visual language that is warm, natural, and easy to connect with.

Color & Typography
The color palette was designed to feel playful yet soothing.
Purple brings warmth, imagination, and comfort, qualities that resonate with childhood.
Teal introduces freshness and balance, adding clarity and modernity.Together, the colors feel lively without overwhelming the senses.
For typography, we chose Space Grotesk, whose rounded, contemporary forms balance friendliness and clarity. The result is a modern, approachable brand that works seamlessly across packaging, digital platforms, and e-commerce.

Our hand-drawn artwork is inspired by scent, warmth, and memory-those intangible triggers that make a space feel like home. With long, exaggerated noses following trails of aroma, our drawings lead with the nose, celebrating the irresistible pull of freshly baked goods. Looping lines, swishes of scent, people and pets alike-each visual detail adds to the playful, sensory world of Juny's.
Branding Philosophy
The goal was a brand that connects with children while also honoring what parents care about most—honesty, transparency, and thoughtfully designed products.
Every detail reflects this philosophy, from packaging to product ingredients. Kids experience the playfulness, and parents immediately recognize the care behind each product. We intended to position zuzu & zee as a brand built to be trusted, understood, and loved, making everyday routines feel simple, joyful, and meaningful for children.

Brand Launch and Social Growth
In December, the brand made its debut on social media, generating an exciting buzz for the brand launch. We began by sharing pre-launch content to spark anticipation and create hype. When the brand finally launched in the market, we shared a lot of post-launch stories that highlighted the founders’ journey in building the brand and created an authentic, relatable series of content. This thoughtful, curated approach gradually nurtured a community of engaged followers. Soon after, the products became available on Amazon, bringing safe, thoughtful children’s personal care into homes everywhere.
Since launch, we reached 108,847 social media accounts, a testament to the genuine connection zuzu & zee has built with children and parents alike.


Impact
zuzu & zee was born from something very real—a mum and dad trying to make mornings a little less stressful for their daughter. That authenticity shines through in every part of the brand.
Being part of this journey has been a joy. From the first conversation to seeing the brand thrive after launch, we have loved every moment of helping create something that brings care, calm, and a little happiness into children’s lives. Here’s to many more good hair days ahead.
